PART III: SHORT ANSWER QUESTIONS
Why are you applying for SC: Tanzania?
I'm applying because it's Survivor Chichen. Having played ORGs since 2002, I've seen a lot of bad games and a lot of great games, too. Hands down, the Chichen series has been my favorite. It's a mix of the best hosting (constant communication with cast, fast paced, organized) and clever challenges. And to top off a wonderful time, there are always episodes to enjoy afterwards. To my knowledge, there hasn't been a series with this much heart in ORG history. I can't pass up a "Chans" to play.
Why should I pick you for SC: Tanzania?
Choose me for Tanzania because I'm a very good player. I have a great head on my shoulders, my instincts are sharp and I'm decisive. I'm a born leader, but even if I find myself in a lesser position I know how to make the most of it and survive. I said above how I've played these games since 2002, and that's given me a lot of time to find myself. I've been the sweetest girl and won the game, but I've also been the most cruel and still pulled out the win. Experiencing both playing extremes helped me tweak my own strategy and makes it not only comfortable for me to execute, but also damn near perfect and invincible. I have excellent game now, better than ever before. I can take the game to an entirely different level.
What would your strategy be if you were selected to play in SC: Tanzania?
My strategy is similar to that of a Venus flytrap's. I appear inviting and cool and trustworthy, drawing my fellow competitors (the prey) in, and then, more often than not, I go on to end their life in the game. Finally, I digest them.
A major thing that could affect my flytrap strategy is my poor reputation. People who have watched me play know that I get dirty. I've even been known to backstab good friends just so I can win an online game. Being a few years older and seeing that there's more out there to care about, I'm not *exactly* like that anymore. I can't say I'd keep true to EVERY friend that could wind up in the game, but I'm not outright going to gun for them unless I have reason to believe they're after me. Enough with the defense, though. The important thing here is that I'm aware that this is something for me to keep an eye out for and that, consequently, I may have to adjust my strategy.
So that's it. I am a calculating woman and a skilled talker who can easily gain trust, and who usually goes on to break it. My ego is in check enough to know that I could be rightfully targeted or not completely trusted because of my past. While I could very well be the Big Bad of the season, it's not my goal. My goal is always to win the entire game, "plain-and-fucking-simple [/Valerie Adams]."
